Love the smaller size - great for a single person!

I bought this smaller mini mixer for a few reasons - its not as heavy, looks good on the counter, and works great! I don't make big batches of things so the mixing bowl size is perfect for my needs. Its a bit pricey considering what it is, but I am sure it will be useful for years to come. I gave it only 4 stars for Value, Innovation, Sound Levels, and Capacity, but all others I gave it a 5.

All my KitchenAids have been wonderful for just about any mixing need--but this one meets the needs of the "smaller" quantities PLUS it takes up much less space on the counter top Highly Recommended. Only issue is design of sliding controls. The seem to stick and easily get way too dirty.

I am very impressed with the power of the mini. The size enables me to keep the mixer on the countertop all the time. I find myself using the Mini ALL the time, even for making salad dressings. It is so convenient to use, the right size for mixing just about everything. I have two other KitchenAid mixers but they are heavy, cumbersome and stored in the pantry - I will primarily use them for Holiday Baking if necessary. Great unit, it's cute, and very user friendly! I bought the Artisan Mini after literally months of reading and evaluating reviews and I'm so happy I did! The size is perfect for a small kitchen and because it's so convenient I find that I use it all the time. I haven't found anything yet that it doesn't do well. The stainless bowl with handle is great and pops right into the dishwasher. Attachments are easily hand washed. And I love the medallion silver color, though there were many good choices.

This little kitenaid comes with a super strong motor. I have made several batches of cookies and lots of whipped cream. My favorite part is I can use my pasta attachments!! My kids love to use it and it is perfect for any job. I've always wanted a KitchenAid stand mixer, but I never had the room to store it because I live in a small apartment in the city. The Artisan mini is a perfect size for storage, and still makes 5 batches of cookies at once!
