I had a problem recently....I received as a retirement gift 2 years ago....used it a little and the middle of February was not able to move the speed button. I called and they replaced with refurbished appliance. Works well. I appreciate the wonderful service. The fella. I talked to was kind, helpful and very compassionate when I called. He even sent me the same color appliance. It was so easy to send the broken appliance back.....thank you so much! The ONLY negative is it is so heavy to move, but I am dealing with that by keeping it on my counter all the time......then I use it more!

I purchased my refurbished Artisan Series 5 last month after debating the decision to buy or not buy for months. I don't know why I waited so long to buy one of the best pieces of kitchen necessities available. I am completely satisfied with the refurbished unit, the performance, and the looks. You would never know it was refurbished. The only problem I had when purchasing one of these was what color mixer I wanted to look at for 30+ years!!!!! Thank you for offering such a great product. I live KitchenAid tilt head mixers

I have only used this mixer twice since it was purchased. I has a loud deep roar when running. I have never had a KitchenAid mixer sound like this and I have owned several. I just noticed it is missing the shaft spring that holds the attachments in place.

Options are enticing

It is a heavy mixer. I did buy the optional splash guard and very glad I did. I think it splashes more that I thought it would. Throwing a towel over it is probably the best idea. It isn't as user friendly as I thought it would be. I probably wouldn't buy it over the old Sunbeam mixer I had again. I may invest in an optional piece to see if I like it for slicing ets.
